In the beginning was the word…and the word was light…and the light shines in darkness…” (John 1 verse 1)

It is our common belief that we will see that light again in physical form. That light has only been visible to the physical eye for 33 years. People actually handled that light with their hands. They saw that light beaten with a whip, then nailed to a wooden cross as blood flowed from his open wounds. They saw that light buried in a tomb with a great stone rolled over it. They saw 16 Roman soldiers stationed there to guarantee that it wouldn’t shine again. But it did…
When that physical light ascended into heaven with over 500 people watching it, an angel broke the silence with the announcement; “You will see him coming again in like manner as you have seen him go…” That light did return 50 days later and entered about 120 people. It now began to shine through other physical bodies, – “by His spirit that now dwelled in them.” AND now “dwells in us….” It shines through us when we pass ‘His Word’ along. We can’t feel that physical light with our hands, – but OH! – how we feel Him ‘in our hearts’!
But until he physically returns… I love to tell the story of that light, as I know you also do.Thelma and I have been telling this story for almost 67 years now, both physically and through the printed page. I was asked yesterday, by a pastor of a successful world ministry, if I would do it again? Can you guess my answer? OH YES…! “The entrance of that word gives light…” and “that light will shine brighter and brighter until the perfect day.”
Of the nine books that I have written about that light, this book pictured here is the first ‘revealed light’ that God gave me on ‘living asuccessful life NOW in this time.’ This book is now translated into the Urdu language for Pakistan. It will be distributed by a ministry there that God has connected us with. Pakistan is deeply buried in the Islam religion. It is indeed a place where “the light is dim…” and the pathway is dark. I (we, with our partners) send money there to help him distribute that light. He has now translated three (3) of our books for that nation in their language. The following is a letter that I am passing along for your ‘joy and rejoicing’ to see what our seed his doing.

PRAYER OF AGREEMENT FOR ‘ANY AFFLICTED AMONG US’
Our blessed Father, Lord of Heaven and Earth, I come before you according to your unchanging word, making my petition clear. I take the position of David in Psalm 91. “No plague (pandemic) shall come near my dwelling. I resist every disease or affliction that makes an attack on my house. The precious blood of Jesus is on my door. The plague has no right to enter here. I am not under condemnation for anything. I have been forgiven and ‘redeemed from the curse’ by God Almighty’s divine plan. I am saved, I am saved…. redeemed by the ‘blood of the Lamb’. There may be reports of a thousand falling at my right hand, and ten thousand on my left, but I declare that it shall not come past the blood line under which I am covered. NOW,- Satan, I resist you and I command you to leave my body alone. I have authority and power over you by the authority of the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth.
Now, I thank you Wonderful Father for doing all, and even more than I know to ask,

PITY THE ATHEIST WHEN HE IS THANKFUL, – HE HAS NO ONE TO THANK! ******************************************* The democrat party voted God out of their platform two times in their 2012 Democratic Convention. I am an eye witness. Does this at least give you pause when you see all the hell driven problems in our streets and in Washington DC and throughout our Christian America?
PLEASE – Keep praying 11 Chronicles 7:14 re; – REPENT for both personal sins, and for the sins of the nation, HUMBLE (opposite of pride) ourselves, SEEK His face, TURN FROM WICKED (unscriptural) WAYS, and pray that our nation will do that. Our hearts/conscience can see what needs to be stopped and can/should be changed. Name those sins before our father. If done, He promised “to forgive us our sins and heal our land.”
If we can’t vote them out of office, – we can pray them out! Whether democrat or republican. This is a SPIRITUAL WAR for the soul and for the continuation of free America.
THE HOPELESS AMONG US WILL NOT FIGHT… hope is the “anchor of the soul.” (Hebrews.6:19)
This a time to reflect,- and also a time to anticipate.
Thelma and I celebrated our 67th anniversary on June 1st of this year. Like many of you, we have survived some very threatening storms.
Our nation is in a time of upheaval and extreme uncertainty. Satanic efforts to destroy the freedoms and liberties that we have always known, and also our Christian way of life, are threatening us on every hand and are constantly seen on every news broadcast.
The experience of Paul… on board a ship in the stormy Mediterranean sea, in the book of Acts ch. 27, can speak to us right now. Nobody but Paul believed they could survive that storm. Two hundred and sixty seven people on board with him were in a panic, running back and forth, – throwing up, and tossing every thing overboard they could find to lighten the ship and help their chances. They hadn’t seen the sun or the moon and stars for fourteen days. They did everything they could think of but the storm just kept coming. They couldn’t sleep,- they wouldn’t eat! They even threw the food away to lighten the ship. They wrapped the ship with ropes, but board by board the ship was creaking and falling apart. “Where are we? What are we going to do? Can’t somebody think of something? HELP! – SOMEBODY!” But their voices were silenced by the screaming wind and the pounding waves.
I think that is a fairly accurate description of what is happening to our beloved.- SHIP USA.
But, –they had an anointed believer on board, who knew the voice of God when he heard it. He stood up in the middle of that dismantling ship, while it was crashing on the rocks and cried out: “— keep up your courage, God told me not one of you will be lost. I have faith in God that it will happen just like He told me.” As the story goes, “they dropped four anchors and wished for the day”
Let me give you four anchors that will hold you firm and fearless in the course of the pending storm. They are listed in 1st Cor. 13:
FIRST ANCHOR – LOVE: –
If God is LOVE, then love will never fail you. That anchor gets a good grip on the bottom of the ocean, and the bottom of the ocean doesn’t move. It doesn’t matter what the ocean does, the bottom of the ocean doesn’t move. Love will conquer anything. We are not forced to trust in love, but if you do it will not fail you. Don’t pull anchor on love!
SECOND ANCHOR – HOPE: –
In Hebrews 6:19; HOPE is called “an anchor of the soul, firm and secure” (NIV) Romans 5:5 assures us that ”HOPE maketh not ashamed…” Shame goes with losing, joy goes with winning. David said “What time I am afraid, I will hope in the Lord” Be sure to cast that anchor and don’t ‘pull anchor’ until these “calamities be overpast”.
THIRD ANCHOR – FAITH: –
Do you remember Jesus question to Peter when he began to sink in the waves, “Wherefore did you doubt” Don’t pull your ‘faith anchor.’ If you pay attention to the news on tv, more than you watch God’s word you will find your self ‘pulling anchor.’“This is the victory that overcomes the world, ‘even our faith’.
FOURTH ANCHOR – WORK: –
In all of our sixty six years of ministry, preaching and doing the ‘word,’ I learned something about how God blesses His children. Someone said it this way: “God is a good checker player, if it is your turn to move, –He waits.” God never promised to do my part. Jesus said this, “My father worketh hitherto, – and I work.” When I do everything I know to do and it still isn’t enough, then I can depend on God to do something to make up the difference.
Cast these four anchors, LOVE, HOPE, FAITH AND WORKS, and watch for the day to dawn. Things are going to continually change in this nation. When we do 11 Chronicles 7:14 and keep our anchors connected to the bottom of the ocean we are going to see salvation for us and our children. Do not ever despair, I believe God that it shall be even as he has told us. SELAH!

When I pray for our nation my faith will support this prayer:
That God would send the wind of the Holy Ghost across this nation and awake this giant Christian army once again, – raise us up to be the mighty force that we were created to be. That we stand up and be strong in bold faith to conquer evil. And, that that mighty wind of the Holy Ghost will blow away the chaff, (Psalm One) and rid us of any leadership that is directing us away from the Christian principles that was established in our constitution from the Bible. Yes, my faith will support that kind of prayer. I let God be the judge between the wheat and the chaff.

FOUR ANCHORS THAT WILL HOLD YOUR SHIP
It is a New Year – a time to reflect and also a time to anticipate.

KNAWING AND PLAGUING QUESTONS
Will America survive the negative direction we are traveling in? Well, -it doesn’t look good. But- ‘what does looks have to do with it’? I’m aware of some negative prophetic ‘words’ by some observers. I fully comply with every scripture that declares prophecies of loss and cataclysmic events. But what about believers; and what about right now; – and what about America?
ALLIES WITH ISRAEL
Jesus clearly taught about ‘end time happenings.’ But he also reassured; “…be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.”
As believers, we cannot allow appearances to govern our thinking or our speaking. It is in my ‘frame of believing’ that America is ‘Israel out of Israel.’ (ALLIES)
All of Jesus teachings were to the Hebrew nation, his own people. If a nation embraces that Abrahamic covenant, then we have reason to believe ‘that nation is included in those benefits.’
America has been staunch allies with Israel from our beginning.
America embraced both the Judeo and the Christian values. Our constitution was established on both.
QUESTION: If God will protect Israel, who has rejected the Messiah, why wouldn’t He also protect America, – who has embraced ‘Jesus the Messiah’?
America is certainly guilty of plenty disobedience and wicked ways, – but so also is Israel. We have a political party now in control in America, that has publicly rejected God on national television, – in 2012. But that didn’t change our CONSTITUTION. Unless that happens, we are still a Christian nation.
GOOD NEWS
Ref. 11Chron. 7:14; “If my people…turn from their wicked ways…,” There has been some “turning from our wicked ways” that has begun already. I.e;– the recent change in the state of Texas in reference to our ungodly abortion laws.
David noted in Psalm 11:3; “If the foundations be destroyed, what can the righteous do?
As long as our constitution (foundation) is preserved, we will remain a Christian nation!
INTERCESSION
Christian believer’s prayers are doing some good. Please continue to intercede and repent on behalf of the anti-god rules and laws that have allowed such an unscriptural lifestyle to prevail in this our beloved Christian nation.
NOTE: I would rather live my life in a positive, faith and trust and joyful mode, in love and hope, – then die having been wrong; – than to live my life in rebellion, hate, doubt, worry, fear and unbelief, – and be a loser every day that I live! I know you understand what I am saying.
FAITH moves the heart and hand of God for good things. FEAR is faith in Satan, and releases him to do his dirty deeds, – stealing killing and destroying. <<
Below is pictured a Cessna 172 airplane that was given to one of our partners this past month. We get good reports from our partners of blessings from the Lord. God honors those who share their monies to promote His cause. He views the monies we give as though it were ‘us going.’
These two books – SHOULD I SPEAK IN TONGUES and THE CROWN OF THORNS have been our most requested books from overseas. It sorrows my heart to say NO to the request for funds to print more of these books in the Urdu language. It weighs heavy on me when that happens, – and it seldom does. Bulk printing requires larger cash deposits. I’ve tried to be cautious with our partners monies. God has trusted me for many years, and so have our partners. We have much treasure waiting for us ‘on the other side.’

We are in some troubled and faith testing times. But helping someone else has been my way of ‘spitting in the devils eye.,’– and God honors it, “pressed down…running over.”

I was in my office on Saturday night, 1977 preparing for my Sunday morning message, when the Lord God spoke to me. “Teach my people how to get from now until dying time walking in success.”. In a state of shock, I responded, “God, how can I teach what I don’t know?” I had gone below the water line financially, just two years before. He spoke again; “Because you know you don’t know; you’re open to learn. If you pay attention, I am going to teach you.” Through my flood of tears, I promised God that I would do whatever he showed me. Observe now this truth under –
Moses Hands.
Open your bible please to <Exodus 9:29 and 33. Then read 17: 9-14 Now please read Ezekiel 34: v.5.> Here is a key to unlocking some clogged blessing channels. When Moses (their pastor) hands were UP, the people defeated their enemy. When his hands were down, the enemy defeated the people.
Among the many miracles wrought by Moses hands, was the delivery of the TEN COMMANDMENTS. That was the law by which God judged the people,- until “the fulness of time had come.” The power in Moses hands was then transferred to the hands of Jesus,- and grace became the rule by which God would judge us. “…all power was given unto Jesus in Heaven and earth…” His hands were then impaled on that cross, and He died that way, – WITH HIS HANDS UP.
He then rose from the dead and gave power and gifts to men. The fivefold ministries he chose and anointed (in Ephesians 4) now serve by His spirit, to do the same works He did. But these spiritual leaders, apostles, pastors, teachers and prophets, evangelists need to keep their hands (spirits) UP.They are called the’ bishops of our souls’. Solomon taught; “the spirit of a man will sustain his infirmity, but a wounded spirit who can bear”? Our spiritual leaders today need Aaron and Hur to stand by them and help keep their hands (spirits) UP. There is a heavy war going on right now in the spirit realm. That is where our battles are fought, – and won or lost. We need to follow positive, faith propelled ministries who live and breathe the living word of God. We need people who encourage these leaders with love and financial support,- and with strong words that are uplifting. Satan has people who are always willing to criticize these leaders and tear them down if possible. I allow for differences of doctrine. But I depart from fellowship with those who are so quick to castigate the preachers. If they don’t encourage faith, I just don’t listen to them. Let them make their own path miserable if they choose, but not mine. I want my teachers/leaders hands UP.

MeditateTHIS: In Numbers 14:24; ”…Caleb , because he had another spirit WITH him,…will I bring into the land…and his seed shall possess it.” Caleb had a ‘can do’ mouth and spoke in faith for a victorious future.
You can have the spirit of Christ dwell IN you and also have other spirits travel WITH you. How I speak determines which of those spirits will be free to operate. Satan is “seeking whom he may destroy” – because he can’t go in,- just anywhere he chooses. Always speak UP about your spiritual leaders and teachers. Hold them in ‘high esteem.’ God honors that. When I speak negative and hurtful things about my spiritual leaders, it gives these evil spirits an entry into my life. And you know what they do. “Steal, kill and destroy.”
Ask God what you can do to encourage your pastor or spiritual leader/teacher today. Good spirits travel with a positive mouth and a faith mindset! God is listening…and so is the devil!

A SPECIAL ARTICLE TO THOSE WHO MAKE THE BIBLE THEIR GUIDE
“It doesn’t matter, God loves us all.”
This is the response to me when I posed an open question about the “gay pride” lifestyle. I created an ‘offense’ to some who defend, promote and/or excuse that way of thinking and living. John the Baptist had his head removed because he spoke out against ‘sexual immorality’. It is not popular to openly oppose ‘gay pride’, – yes, even among some people who claim Jesus as their savior!
Read the story of Cushi and Ahimaaz in 2nd Samuel 18. Ahimaaz was the fastest runner, but his message was incomplete. Cushi was a little slower, but he had the full story of what happened in the battle. The message was not what David wanted to hear, but Cushi got the commendation from the King because he told the whole truth.
I must tell, I will tell the whole story ….
We have just come through a full month of “gay pride” promotion here in our nation. It is my firm belief that this is the foundational foothold for most of the criminal and anti-god activities that are now happening in our nation.It flows with the commune (communistic) way of thinking and living. There is a clear lack of respect for God’s Word among this group.
Consider this statement made by God to Moses when the plagues were coming on Egypt, –
in Exodus 11:7; “…among the Israelites not a dog will bark at any person or animal. Then you will know that the Lord ‘makes a distinction’ between Egypt (non-covenant people) and Israel. (God’s chosen nation) Yes, God makes a difference among people! He protects those who follow His instructions.
Look at it now, among ‘God’s own people,’ in the New Testament. 1st Corinthians 10:3… “They all ate the same spiritual food and drank from the spiritual rock …and that rock was Christ. v.5 Nevertheless, God was not pleased with most of them; their bodies were scattered in the wilderness…” V.8 ‘’We should not commit ‘sexual immorality’, as some of them did – and ‘in one day’ twenty-three thousand of them died. Do not test Christ, as some of them did, and were killed by snakes…and the destroying angel.” V.11 These things happened as examples…as warnings for us.” The twenty three thousand who died were believers, (covenant people) but they are ‘disobedient believers.‘
Consider Romans 11:22; “Behold, the goodness and severity of God: on them which fell, severity; but toward you, goodness,- ’if you continue in His goodness.’ Otherwise, – you will be cut off.” (lose His protection.) EXAMPLE: We choose death and destruction if we violate the law of gravity. All of God’s laws and rules are given for our own benefit and protection. If we violate them, we choose the fore-warned consequences. Violation of ‘sexually immoral laws’ is the foremost ‘divider of families’.
GOD LOVES US ALL
Clearly, God loves us all. No one questions that. But, – that doesn’t mean that He ‘approves’ of us all. He sent Jesus to pay the price for our sins. But if we don’t follow His clear path to deliverance and freedom we lose out on the ‘goodness of God” and we learn the hard facts about the “severity of God.”
THE GOD KIND OF LOVE
I’m a faith preacher. I love to talk of His goodness and of His abundant blessings. But we cannot ignore the truth about ‘obedience to His instructions.’ Even if it seems grievous at the time. We are living in a time when the boldness and promotion of ‘this level of sinful living is over the top.’ Thirty days of promoting GAY PRIDE, – and using ‘God’s rainbow’ for the identifying symbol of this lifestyle? God said He hates that sin;- ( Sodom and Gomorrah!)
I am asking God-loving and God-fearing people, to pray with me for those who are trapped in this ‘sexually immoral’ lifestyle, – and pray also for those who are sympathetic toward it. We have no stones to throw. Our loving and kind Father is so quick to forgive when we ask. But people must ask for forgiveness. We cannot, we must not be passive about anything that God calls sin. Especially when it is being promoted on a national level.
This is not a pleasant subject, but when it is exploited and openly promoted unashamedly on the internet and television stations and news media across our Christian America, then I think it is time that God’s ‘preachers of righteousness’ and of His Word speak out about the hatred of this sin by our Heavenly Father. Let us stand up, like our Lord did, and speak out against wrong thinking and wrong living. Jesus was bold. He openly declared to the spiritually defiant Pharisees; ”you are of your father the devil.”
God’s prophets are not, and should not ever be hateful – but we must tell the whole truth! Yes, God loves every person, – but He hates the sinning! We don’t box with God, – our arms are too short! We are not cowards; – we love what God loves and we hate what God hates.
Our beloved America is in a mess. Appearances are not good! This is not a news report. You already know about that.
Before I sat down to connect with you, the above words in Isaiah 40 kept lingering in my spirit. The following is what I feel…
– AFFLICTIONS-
I just finished reading Psalm 119. Throughout the longest chapter in the bible, David, who is called “the man after God’s own heart”, was reassuring the Lord that His Word (laws) was the most precious thing in his life.
But he kept referring to his afflictions and how they had been ‘good for him’.
“Before I was afflicted, I went astray: but now I have kept thy word…” v.67
“It is good for me that I have been afflicted; that I might learn thy statutes…” v.71
“Consider mine affliction, and deliver me…” v.153
“This is my comfort in my affliction: … thy word has quickened me.” (taught me something). V.50
DOES GOD CREATE HURT?
It has been said, “Experience is the best teacher.” I agree that pain of shortages, social issues and physical problems etcetera, does get our attention. But a ‘correction in our course’ comes from information. We pay attention when we hurt.
Does God create hurt? Answer: He doesn’t have to. It just happens when I am in violation of His created laws. IfI stump my little toe while walking in the dark, – it hurts. No condemnation here…we all “fail and come short.” While we God fearing people repent, – some do not! Remember hardheaded, hardhearted Pharaoh!
THE MAIN PURPOSE OF MY LETTER
I know you love America as I do. God judges a disobedient nation just as He does an individual.
DEPARTURES FROM GOD’S LAWS
There have been too many willful departures from the laws of the creator in this nation.
I think America is experiencing the hurt from the following violations.
1. Abortions unabated, and the sale of baby parts. (Read Psalm 139)
2. Sexual deviations and violations arranged for and approved by people who should know better.
3. Plus, consider the laws that promote other Gods and their worship in this Christian nation.
4. And now, an open lack of respect for the word of God whereon we were founded, – and a lack of respect for His church! (Mandated church closures)
Until the above mentioned are corrected, afflictions may continue to increase.

We can draw encouragement from the experiences of the Israeli’s.
God did not forsake them in their affliction. When Egypt was experiencing the plagues, – God’s people were exempt and protected, even though they were among those who were being judged.

Keep a positive mouth concerning your issues and the promises of God.
Our Father never runs out of supply. Remember the manna and the quail in the wilderness!“For we live by faith, – not by sight.”
I pray you are COMFORTED by these words. God will never abandon His own.

I am sure you have heard the expression “At the tipping point” or “at the precipice.”
As you know, I am not a politician. I am a bible preacher/teacher and have been for 65 years plus.
AMERICA:
We now have leadership in America that has voted God out of their platform ‘twice’ in their 2012 convention.
According to the scriptures, and the principles of christian living, we did go over the precipice, or the tipping point at the last election – from all appearances? When aligning those happenings with the scriptures, you could say; “America is now running in reverse, with the pedal to the metal.” There are no natural blockages in view to prevent any rules or laws that these anti-God leaders are preparing, now that they control all three branches of our government.
WHERE ARE WE NOW?
So where are we now in this God-fearing nation that we were established to be, and have enjoyed for the last 240 plus years? Things didn’t happen in the way patriotic minds were praying and believing at the last two elections, national and state. We felt that we had been spared when the election of 2016 occurred. But then in 2020…?
QUESTION: How can God’s favor rest on a leadership that openly rejected Him on national television?
1st SAMUEL 1-7
In my last partner letter, I shared how the Philistines (opponents of God) captured the Ark of the Covenant and were then in total control of the people of God. We will make the comparison of then and now. After five days following the election, of frustration, meditation and prayer, I KNEW that I had a word from God to help us understand better where we are now in America. To Israel, it appeared that God had abandoned His people and allowed the enemies of God to take total control. I think many felt that way now about Christian America following this election. But hold on,- dreadful things began to happen among the opponents of God. (Read 1st Samuel Chapters 1 – 7.) Those developments there did two things…
It taught the enemies of God a lesson they would never forget about opposing the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, – who had a covenant with God.
And, – it brought a great restoration and revival to the people of God who had abandonedtheir respect for the rules and laws of God. America has drifted into an ocean of disobedience to God Almighty. Now, under this anti-god leadership, – we have a faulty engine and have no anchor! (Let the reader meditate)
I pray my point is clear to you. Our Heavenly Father sees what we can’t see. I boldly declare; – He has not turned a deaf ear to the prayers of His people in America. He promised to heal our land.
How He does it, and how long it takes will be according to His wisdom. But if we believe the scriptures, we know it will happen! – Consider Israel and that experience!
Our position and posture are to “rejoice, and again I say rejoice,” for all these things that appear in the natural are not as they seem to be. Our Father is up to something that could cause the very hair on our head to stand on end. Or it could be developments that we don’t even hear announced or talked about. We believe the bible! God’s word has never failed us yet. Get ready for some miracles and for some supernatural happenings. I see beyond appearances, – I see the hand of God moving. Will you believe it? Whether His return is now or some other kind of intervention, – let’s just ‘stay in faith’ and be happy. “FEAR NOT,” “Stand still (firm in faith) and watch for the ‘salvation of the lord’.” SELAH!
THE CROWN OF THORNS book is being distributed in Pakistan. This pastor has distributed more than 500 of these books now in the Urdu language. The average cost to us at this point is approximately $1.45 cents per copy. This includes translation costs, paper, printing and distributing.
