GIVE US BARABBAS…?
To Gerald Davis’ friends and partners,
If we listen to the media and the voices pleading for ‘socialism’, ‘woke’ and other anti-God measures and issues, then the above words “GIVE US BARABBAS” are those that are screaming at us. A cry for ‘Barabbas instead of Jesus’.
We, God’s people are faced with a choice in November. We will either choose to keep the Christian America that we have loved and cherished for some 240 years, or we will get ‘Barabbas’ in exchange. I think you can see the comparison.
[ American believers in our Lord have been praying and doing some humbling of ourselves, and repenting on behalf of our nation for some time now, – based on 11Chronicles 7:14. There are lots of prayer groups and ministries in our nation that have been pouring out our hearts to God for restoration and healing of our land.]
Now, on November the 8th, there will be showdown.
I heard a pastor on television, sharing a message on the Christians obligation to vote. While he was sharing his thoughts, I saw something he didn’t say. The Christians vote is David’s stone into Goliath’s forehead, it is the “arrow of the Lords deliverance in the heart of the Kings enemies”,
“Arrows (our vote) are sharp in the heart of the Kings enemies…” (Psalm 45:5)
It is the “nail fastened in a sure place.”
It is our works attached to our faith which gives life to our “prayers of faith”.
I take comfort in the following words from Psalm 46:5,6,7.
“God is in the midst of her; she shall not be moved; God will help her when the morning dawns. V:6, The nations rage, the kingdoms totter; He utters His voice, the earth melts. V:7, The Lord of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our fortress.”
As a believer,- I see our vote as ‘our stone’, or ‘our arrow’, or our ‘nail fastened in a sure place’. The voting box or mail carrier is my ‘bow for my arrow’, or my ‘sling for my stone’, or my ‘hammer for my nail’. With “the faith of the Lord Jesus Christ, by which I live my life”, I will cast my vote (stone, arrow, nail) on November the 8th and watch as the “earth melts”. For the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, and the Son of God, Jesus Christ, gives my stone the power to drop the giant and “disappoint the enemy.” SELAH!

This man, Anil Jasper, is doing the work of the lord in Pakistan like no other person I know.
The price for interpreting, ink, paper and printing, – plus distributing is, I think, cost effective. His next destination is Dubai pastors and workers conference. I will try to send more funds for good distribution at that conference. <$3.00 per book.>
